Dave started at American Printing in early 2000 and has been the go-to guy in prepress ever since.

His first job in the printing industry was a darkroom position at a local card company while in high school. After graduation, he was hired full time as a conventional film stripper.

While working nights in a conventional prepress department he read the writing on the wall more clearly. Determined to join the digital revolution he went back to work off hours and started to train himself on graphics programs. He bought a Macintosh clone; U-Max C500 and never looked back.

American Printing:
During his employment at American Printing, he was instrumental in transforming the department from a film based workflow to CTP and eventually to a Xenith Xitron workflow.
